Bio

Nurys Uceta-Ramos, Class of 2011, is a proud alum who has built her career around supporting young people and uplifting communities. She currently serves as the Director of Engagement for Forest Park School District 91, where she works to build strong partnerships between schools, families, and the broader community to ensure students have the support they need to thrive. After graduating from Reagan, Nurys went on to pursue her passion for education and social impact. Her work today includes leading districtwide initiatives like parent engagement programs, youth leadership opportunities, and community events that celebrate culture, identity, and connection. Outside of her professional role, Nurys is an activist, a choreographer, a proud dog mom and chicken tender, and someone who values rest, joy, and personal growth. She’s currently taking a sabbatical to reflect on her next steps and continue serving others in bold, creative ways. Nurys credits her high school experience for shaping her voice, values, and drive to make a difference and she’s honored to stay connected with fellow alumni who share those roots
